Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Founding Families access and the platform we are opening next.

My kid has zero coding experience. Is that okay?

Yes. This product is built for children who are curious about making games, not for kids who already think of themselves as programmers. The point of the platform is to shorten the distance between 'I have an idea' and 'I made something real' while still keeping the code visible. Prior coding experience can help, but it is not required.

Will they actually learn, or will AI do everything for them?

The code stays visible on purpose. Kids can see what the AI changed, ask why it changed, and edit it directly. That is the core difference between this product and generic vibe-coding tools. We are using AI to accelerate creation while keeping the underlying JavaScript legible and learnable.

What kind of computer does my child need?

Any reasonably current Mac or PC laptop works well. The product is browser-based, so there is no heavy local setup required for the core experience. A full computer is still the right device for this product because kids need enough screen space to see both the code and the live preview comfortably.

How does Founding Families access work?

This is a small launch-stage rollout, not a mass self-serve release yet. You submit an access request, we review fit and timing, and then we follow up with the current onboarding path and offer. That keeps the launch tight while the trust wrapper and parent experience are still being finalized.

How much parent involvement is required?

Less than a traditional class, but more than a throwaway app download. We expect parents to help with the first onboarding step, understand the safety model, and stay lightly aware of how their child is using the platform. After that, the goal is for kids to build independently inside a parent-trusted environment.

What happens if my child gets stuck?

The launch group is intentionally small so we can keep the first-project experience guided. That means the platform, onboarding, and follow-up support are all designed to reduce the chance that a child hits a wall and quietly bounces off.

Is this a class or a platform?

The main product we are promoting now is the platform. There may be guided support during the launch period, but the core thing families are joining is the kid-safe game-building environment itself, not a one-time January cohort sale.

What happens after the early-access period?

Founding Families help us shape the public launch version. As we expand access, we will communicate the ongoing platform path, support model, and any paid plans directly to the families in the launch group.

Can adults sign up?

Not right now. We are focusing the launch on young people and families because the trust wrapper is the whole point of this product direction. If adult or educator access becomes part of a later release, we will communicate that separately.

Wondering about AI safety?

We've built comprehensive safety features into every aspect of the program, from content filtering to parent oversight.
